A voice resonated throughout the void. Moments later, someone responded.

“Yes.”

“Who are you?”

“I should be the one asking that. I was here first.”

“Really? How so?”

“Because I’ve been here for a very long time.”

“And you’re sure that you’ve been alone the entire time?”

“Hmm, a fair point.”

Silence ensued, although it is uncertain for how long. Perhaps because the concept of time does not apply in this place.

“So, is there anything that you want to talk about?”

“I don’t think of talking as a necessity.”

“But that’s so boring!”

“The concept of boredom does not apply to me.”

“Oh I see how it is, you’re one of those people that ‘don’t like to waste time and energy’ and stuff.”

“And you’re basically the complete opposite of me.”

Silence, yet again. There seems to be a pattern of a little bit of back-and-forth followed by a pause. Whether they start again is on the hands, figuratively since we’re not sure if they even possess them in the first place, of our resident talkative entity.

“Can I ask a question?”

“I don’t see a reason why not to.”

“If you don’t like wasting time, then why did you respond to me in the beginning?”

Silence, once more.

“Uhh, Hello?”

Nothing.

Note: I’m not really sure where I wanted to go with this, I sort of just wanted to post something rather than leaving this place barren. I do think that this has potential though, I might pick up on it or continue it.

Hi! I’m basically just some guy that wanted to take this opportunity (we had to make a blog in our ICT class) to taking this seriously and delve into sharing the stories that come from my mind.

The main purpose of this blog is to be an archive of:

• Short stories and maybe drafts of chapters for a book I’m planning to write;
• Poetry that I think aren’t too bad to not show it to anyone else;
• Basically anything else that I want to share and maybe receive some criticism on.

I didn’t really take any classes on literature and creative writing, nor is English my first language, so please excuse if my entries don’t really catch up to your standards. Somewhere along the line, after reading countless stories from different sources, really, I felt like I wanted to make some of my own aswell.
